Raising Money for Royal British Legion

In December 2023, the staff and students of Medway Green completed a Santa Run around Wouldham in order to raise money for the Royal British Legion Industries, a charity who support army veterans.

Typically the weather was not on our side though but pupils still completed a run or walk through the village in the wet and windy conditions. All students and staff took part in the walk, donning Santa hats, with some running or walking with our two amazing ponies, Maggie and Rose

The event was a huge success and students asked for sponsorship to complete the task from friends and family. In total, the school managed to raise just shy of £900 for the RBLI! This was a massive achievement for all involved and we even managed to hand deliver the money which was gratefully received! They plan to use the money to contribute towards some technology for the vets to support them with education courses, finding jobs and so much more!

Well done to everyone involved and we look forward to seeing how much the money will benefit this amazing charity!
